The war is won. Oasis and the Concordat are at peace. Overwatch has been folded up again, this time made into an intelligence arm for Helix, under new - and the UN hopes better - leadership. The Gods are free - largely - to do as they will.

Brigitte has three questions, and, as always, she's willing to do what she must to get the answers she needs.

Not all the hurt between our opposing sides no longer at war dates from that war, or even from what happened in London.

Some of it started further back - years earlier, in fact.

Reinhardt, through Brigitte, encounters someone he thinks he knew but never did, and someone else he once knew very well.

Overwatch - or what is left of it - is at war with the Gods of Oasis. Russia is in a parallel war with itself, Katya Volskaya's government against the popular uprising led by the Aleksandra Zaryanova, the Goddess of Russia. As winter sets in, Zarya's March to Moscow has slowed to a crawl.

The old year has rolled out, and the new year has rolled in, as both Brigitte and her family struggle with her new reality.

We started this one literally two and a half years ago. Two and a half years ago. Having it out at last is just... holy fuck. It's out.

Overwatch - or what is left of it - is at war with the Gods of Oasis. Russia is in a parallel war with itself, Katya Volskaya's government against the popular uprising led by the Aleksandra Zaryanova, the Goddess of Russia. As winter sets in, Zarya's March to Moscow has slowed to a crawl.

Overwatch Dolphin 102 - carrying Brigitte and Lúcio flight back to Germany from Watchpoint Nepal - has experienced a major malfunction just north of the Russia-Kazakhstan border.

Now, the consequences unfold.

Katya Volskaya's government in Russia has destroyed the omnium Koschei, and held their own against the Gods of Oasis. But with Jesse McCree having upset a precarious balance, Lena, Hana, and Sombra have intervened in Russia's rising civil war, and the fragile peace between Overwatch and Oasis has been shattered.

Brigitte and Lúcio bring in Hanzo, trying to piece all the bits of information they have about Russia's bioweapons programme together - and now Sombra has an idea.

...Torbjörn is relieved that Reinhardt is leaving Nepal, and particularly relieved that he is taking Brigitte with him.

eeeeeeee I hardly ever get POTG as brigette! But I did here! ♥

The fun bit starts at 7m 11s in, where I utterly destroy the enemy ult stack. I cancel Rein's hammer down, survive D.va's nerf, completely eat Moira's coalescence (through extensive use of bashy-bashy and my own rally), and smash Junkrat's tyre, all in rapid succession.

I think we can all agree that's a pretty good Brigitte run.

I mentioned that I have AluminiumSiding as an alt account, previous post. I set it up so I could play comp with people far away and not be bothered by placement or anything. (The poor ping times that result from multi-continental play are an issue.) But hopping christ on a pogo stick it's annoying to get one set up, just because of all the shit you have to do to wade through eight million new user tips and so. much. terrible. play. ramping up to level 25, which lets you enter comp.

So much grinding. So much grinding.

Anyway, this short play of the game was from a charge that lasted so long I got multiple ults on the same charge on the point. This was just part of one of them. It was hilarious, and we won.

Honestly I’m not convinced this is better than the highlight I uploaded earlier, but it was a play of the game as Brigitte, so I’m uploading it. ^_^
