solarbird: justice rains on your face (pharah)

The war is won. Oasis and the Concordat are at peace. Overwatch has been folded up again, this time made into an intelligence arm for Helix, under new - and the UN hopes better - leadership. The Gods are free - largely - to do as they will.

At long last, changes are no longer coming.

At long last, changes are here.

Orisa!

solarbird: justice rains on your face (pharah)

I am not a big Orisa player, like at all, even though I do OF COURSE adore the best pony. But I will give her a go occasionally, particularly at the Well in Illios.

Most people these days, they see an Orisa on the point there, they stay back. But apparently, enemy team didn't know about this green orb thing she has, and I had so many environmental kills omg.

It was hilarious, and so - obviously - I had to share it.

Alliances, it has been said, are at their weakest on the brink of defeat, and on the brink of victory. After defeating the China Sea omnium, the gods of Oasis offered their help to Russia, to defeat their own Siberian threat, and Russia accepted that offer - but made additional secret plans of their own.

This is a rare Orisa highlight - kills 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 in a nice quality streak. I think this is the same game also where I got her "Cute" spray, for damage amplified.

Frankly, I'm not sure how this Pharah highlight wasn’t POTG? But it wasn’t. I got that Mercy at the end, too, just... after the clip ran out.

And lastly, this is only a three-kill Widowmaker highlight, which I consider the minimum for posting, but it’s on the deathmatch level I find pretty much the most difficult to play well. I don’t really know why, but it's true. And I did play well - I played like I belonged in a Widowmaker-only headshots-only FFA game. That always makes me happy.

(Also I got complimented a couple of times in comp today on my sniping, which is just weird, but wow, it’s nice when people notice. ♥)

Overrun on point A almost immediately, we discover that our Lúcio is trolling - he’s turned off passive heals and is wandering around the map seeing how slow he can go. We proceed to lose, but not until after holding on point B for seven fucking minutes, with no healer, and me as a solo-tanking Orisa. [highlight video] Our Torb was great, constantly feeding me armour packs, trying to make up for it.

I survived that Reaper ult in the highlight video, too. They took me down with under 60 seconds left with a triple-ult-stack, and that was it, but… those seven minutes were pretty glorious.

In other news, IT'S [pow] [cue monty python theme].
