Overwatch - or what is left of it - is at war with the Gods of Oasis. Russia is in a parallel war with itself, Katya Volskaya's government against the popular uprising led by the Aleksandra Zaryanova, the Goddess of Russia. As winter set in, Zarya's March to Moscow slowed to a crawl, held, waiting for a change in the weather.

But now, it is spring - a slippery thing, in Russia, but still inevitable - and the time for waiting is over.

Zarya has continued her walkabout, and has made her way to Brazil, still trying to figure out who she is now, and what she needs to do about the conflict growing in her homeland. Along the way, she's finding the world is already a little changed - maybe more than anyone even realises.

Alliances, it has been said, are at their weakest on the brink of defeat, and on the brink of victory. After defeating the China Sea omnium, the gods of Oasis offered their help to Russia, to defeat their own Siberian threat, and Russia accepted that offer - but made additional secret plans of their own.
