Occasionally,
The Onion still makes me go
Yay!
Distinctly less tired than yesterday, despite being one of Long Days, and, on top of it, a physical therapy workout session of some fair severity. I'm still glad Thursday is a light day tho'. (Only one class.) I've also talked with a tutor for Japanese so I can start working ahead of the class - I'm quite sure I'll need it. Because there's a pretty significant gap between end of class Thursday and tutoring session Thursday I'm considering being a conversation partner for a Japanese student learning English. The idea is that it would be reciprocal but that's not really possible given my current vocabulary limits.
I have no idea whether it's related, but I have been obsessing on 80s music lately. That, and a small assortment of progrock. I have no idea why.

I mentioned earlier that my autumn veg garden - that I planted before the accident - wasn't going all that well, and that one row hadn't come up at all. It turns out that was the greens row, which was the one I actually wanted most. To wit: foo. The snow peas are doing fine and the carrots (now that I know for sure they are carrots)... about half of them didn't sprout, but those that did are starting to put up a few real leaves. At least they won't be shaded this time.
Oh, and the two plants that were in my backpack when I got hit and accidentally stayed in my backpack most of the time I was in the hospital; the sun-loving one seems pretty dead at this point, but there's still a little green so I haven't completely given up. The shade one is doing
very well, thank you and seems very happy in its spot in the rockery. So that's one hardy little bastard of a plant. I think I like it. ^_^
