kathrynt is out and reports roads are generally passible but with lots, and lots, and lots of very wet snow, and they're going to be ice rinks almost immediately after sundown, so if you have any errands, get them done now.

We got milk delivery today, possibly because when I called I mentioned that I had been keeping a path clear down to the road. (I was towards the end of reclearing when they showed up, in fact. This time I widened it to car length, so that if we have to drive out, we can at least get down the driveway.) So that was a surprise. Also, a neighbour came over to say hi, on skis, which was pleasant.
