Free TV. Works okay. There are a few scratches on the monitor. For the eight of you who trigger on that phrase, YES, this is the Tweaker Mark TV. For those that don't, there is a Roommate Horror Story involved, courtesy two owners previous.

It's black plastic, 20" visible screen area (probably 21" tube then?), and made by Zenith. I don't think we have the remote, but a universal will work. Plus: FREE.

Reply if you want it. Laaaa!

Edit: I forgot!

A 16-year-old queer boy in Tennessee came out to his parents, under the mistaken impression that they loved him more than they loved their own sense of self-righteousness. They are now forcing him into a gay-conversion camp run by a local Fundamentalist church.

The entry where he discovered the camp rules on their computer is linked to here.

The rules set is appended below; his own words are not, but are available at the above link. People familiar with brainwashing and "re-education" techniques from the Soviet bloc will recognise many of these rules. People with high sensitivity to such things may wish to tread carefully. There are two more posts after the one linked to above, made against rules from his parents' computer overnight; they are also somewhat disturbing.

There are protests going on outside the camp; they are mentioned here:

According to one person who was forced through the programme, this quote is accurate:

“I would rather you commit suicide than have you leave Love In Action wanting to return to the gay lifestyle. In a physical death you could still have a spiritual resurrection; whereas, returning to homosexuality you are yielding yourself to a spiritual death from which there is no recovery.”
