Yeah. I test *interesting* software for a living. I can tolerate a given game for the fixed number of hours it takes to play through it, no more than that.
Back in the day (or do they still do this?), radio stations used to offer a day as a roadie for some popular band or another as a contest prize.
So you're caller number 19 and you win... 18 hours of back-breaking manual labor, a chance to watch the sound check (which the artists may or may not participate in) if you're not smart enough to be taking a nap during the lull in actual work, a slim chance of getting close enough to any band members to even wave, and... hm... the food's actually pretty damn good, so there's a plus.
Having worked for sony as a tester for almost a year, I know just how "Fun" this can be. I mean I liked my job (16 an hour, no benifits, and contract work so only 9 months out of 12 unless you went perm) but I just do not see that as a "prize"
