So my Macbook just fell over ded. The HD is some variety of toast, I don't know what exactly but while Disk Repair (booted off CD-ROM) can see it, it can't touch it in any way. So, I'm kinda fucked on multiple levels, since this is also my recording machine. Anyway, this means you probably won't see much this week.
At least I have Time Machine backups. Yay.

Date: 2009-02-23 09:24 pm (UTC)The good news, I had applecare warranty and time machine backup, so it cost me being without the mac for about 3 days real-time, and I lost a few hours data, and it took like 90 minutes to restore from the Time Machine, and then it was like it had never happened from the point of the last time machine sync.
That 3 days real-time kind of sucked, though.
