stumbling around
Mar. 8th, 2007 09:57 pmI am so sick of this quarter. I'm very much looking forward to it being over. I'm so unmotivated it's just stupid. And I've felt tired and somewhat bletcherous all week. I did kind of enjoy the field trip to the UW botany greenhouses, though. I got to play Sumomo helping my group get to the warehouses, which I mostly only realised I was doing when we got there. So that was funny.

Date: 2007-03-09 08:55 pm (UTC)The state quarters thing I've heard referenced as partial inspiration for why they're doing the presidents thing with the coins. And while I think the neatness factor of putting other admired figures on money would be quite high, I don't know if they'd ever do that--are there any countries that put non-leader figures on their money? All the non-U.S. coins I've ever seen do that too.
