murkworks.net 3.1r2 on kernel 2.4.27 apache 2.0 series web services online, motherfuckers! At least for the moment. It's still b0rken and lame - no server-side scripting, virtual hosts may (and may not) be a little weird, and if you're using php, we might need to talk - but it's up for non-PHP pages.

It's also behind newly enhansed firewalling. It was firewalled before, but now it's moreso. If something other than server-side scripting doesn't work that used to, tell me; I erred further on the side of paranoia this time, I think and hope.

annathepiper is working on the scripting issues more this weekend, and we've both been doing some ad hoc touchup. Hopefully we won't get p0wned at least for another few months. :-p

Our DNS doesn't have anything to do with lodestone, the machine that was cracked. We learned from the previous time and distributed functions across several servers.

door (a.k.a. ns.murkworks.net) seems to know who probcast.com is and resolves it immediately when I test against it. And I'm not seeing any NS packets to door being dropped on our end...
