murkworks.net 3.1r2 on kernel 2.4.27 apache 2.0 series web services online, motherfuckers! At least for the moment. It's still b0rken and lame - no server-side scripting, virtual hosts may (and may not) be a little weird, and if you're using php, we might need to talk - but it's up for non-PHP pages.
It's also behind newly enhansed firewalling. It was firewalled before, but now it's moreso. If something other than server-side scripting doesn't work that used to, tell me; I erred further on the side of paranoia this time, I think and hope.

Date: 2005-12-23 06:55 pm (UTC)door (a.k.a. ns.murkworks.net) seems to know who probcast.com is and resolves it immediately when I test against it. And I'm not seeing any NS packets to door being dropped on our end...

Date: 2005-12-23 07:06 pm (UTC)Hits on the domain randomly choose between DNS servers... so sometimes you'll go through murkworks.net and sometimes you'll go through burninghand.org. There's just no way of knowing beforehand. But if one of us is acting up for some reason, that'll cause erratic access to the domain.
