How often is this really happening? Seriously: Parents managing the job hunts of their adult children? Companies altering hiring practices to accommodate this? Really? This is so weird to me. It also smells like mostly media bullshit, but I'm curious.

And in disgusting news that we all already knew, Col. Lawrence Wilkerson (ret.) says in a court filing that Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney knew most of the Gitmo prisoners - the "worst of the worst" - were in fact completely innocent, but didn't care:

Referring to Mr Cheney, Colonel Wilkerson, who served 31 years in the US Army, asserted: “He had absolutely no concern that the vast majority of Guantánamo detainees were innocent ... If hundreds of innocent individuals had to suffer in order to detain a handful of hardcore terrorists, so be it.”
