not the best week ever

Sorry I haven't posted anything lately, I've been distracted. Zoology and its "hi, memorise these several dozen abstract noun labels and these several piles of factoids" approach to learning is a problem. I've just gotten back pretty much the worst grade I can remember getting on a science test, mostly because I had to guess what kinds of animals she was talking about about 1/3 of the time when she'd give an order or phylum or subphylum name and often guessed wrong. So that's fun.

Anyway, annathepiper and spazzkat and I went out to dinner tonight, and got seats at the I Heart Sushi bar for a change, and god damn that was extraordinary. We were there early enough that the sushi chef started just making us things, all of which were fantastic. We need to do that more often.
