South Dakota moves to ban abortion outright; includes ACTION ITEM to support the ban, which now goes to the state Senate;

Wisconsin anti-contraceptive pharmacist in trouble for refusing to dispense birth-control pills; these aren't even emergency contraception, these are standard BCP;

New (to me) group, "Catholic Citizens of Illinois," wants DePaul University to drop its queer studies programme, sites GBLT people as "objectively disordered" and same-sex relationships as "intrinsically evil," quoting Pope Benedict; article continues AFA/fundamentalist line of equating homosexuality and pedophilia;

Ohio public school starting the day with prayer has stopped in response to a newspaper editorial suggesting it was unconstitutional; American Family Association is angry;
