Seriously, anybody want some SVHS videotapes? I have 21 of them. Almost all were recorded on exactly once, because this was how I archived Babylon 5 and Red Dwarf back in the late 1990s. (I also have a bulk eraser. You aren't buying copies of those TV shows, sorry. Go get the DVDs, they're much better.) You pay shipping or pick up. Tape-based ADAT eight-track digital audio recorders can use them too.

Anybody?

I have a machine which will record in SVHS, but I think I only used that function to test it. Sorry. Just no desire to actually use that format.

I guess I'd take a couple, if it was easy. I have a great SVHS studio deck, but honestly I doubt I'll ever use it much again.

That would be cool, but I don't know if anyone will be here. I'm heading back north tomorrow morning. No big deal if it doesn't work out.

My old B5 tapes are probably going to be landfill fodder in the not-terribly-distant future, I'm afraid, unless I can find an artistic type who wants to do something interesting with miles and miles of black magnetic tape.

Good on you for trying to find your old tapes a useful home.
