A lot of creative people follow music and art blogs, so with not much going on online right now as we work on swapping out our internet providers – what do you do? What’s your creative project right now?

My currently active projects are learning to can (first batch today: five pints of blueberry ketchup), learning to cure meats (also today, started a batch of beef bacon), and crocheting a set of pot cozys (an interim step before building the haybox cooker that I really want, but which will take significant planning to do right). If I have any brains left after dinner, I'll work on the crochet project, but probably not.

Also, raw beef smells amazing.
