It'll be another 90 minutes ("at least") before she's awake enough to do anything so they're keeping me out here until then, but Dr. McMillan said everything went great, there's bandages but no ace wrap this time, and no drains (as expected); there'll be swelling and bruising and soreness, but it'll still be less annoying than the previous round. If the bandages are bothering her on Sunday she can take them off and can even shower then. So that's all good.

I'm very sleepy. Have I mentioned that? We got up at 4:15AM this morning, a perfectly barbaric time to be waking up.

*nods* that first shower after any sort of a procedure is a nice one... yay no drains! wow, Sunday... fast!

And, yeah, 0415 is totally barbaric, unless you're going fishing. You still gotta do it when hot air ballooning, but only fishing is good enough to make it less pirate-y.

I managed to miss the news about her surgery, but glad to hear that everything is OK anyway.

4AM is about the time I got up to visit you. Both the time actually made it, and the time I didn't because of the passport fubar. One thing I *don't* want when I get up at that time is anything unexpected happening.
