Nine people ate less than half of it. It recommends 16 slices (at SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY EIGHT CALORIES PER SLICE). It wasn't as moist as you'd maybe have expected but that was because I had to do the cake baking the day before and then keep it in the refrigerator overnight before assembling on Thanksgiving proper. (Basically I did everything through step 14 here the day before.

It's actually a good recipe. It says it takes almost five hours, and that's not unreasonable, but it took me more like four, maybe a little under that.

Hahaha, that was the densest cake I have ever eaten. That cake could actually be made of dark matter. And it was INCREDIBLY tasty.
