Back from playing the last Juanita Bay market of the year. I've spent too much time watching the train wreck and not enough time performing, and I needed some sanity points back in a severe way. First set was pretty sketchy but that was okay since nobody was there; second set was pretty good and there weren't many people there but the ones who were there were all giving me tiny moneys; the third set reeked of awesome - seriously, several times during it I was thinking, "yeah. This is what I want the recording to sound like. This." - but... nobody was there. Then I played Rawhide to play the market out.

Tomorrow's my last market day for the entire year! As far as I know, anyway. Woodinville, 9:30. It'll be fun.

Completely unrelatedly, I like this word from the radio today:
apricity (n): the feeling of the warmth of the sun in wintertime.
Also, I like [livejournal.com profile] jenk's quote of the day.

Obviously you should come down to the Olympia Farmer's Market, which runs until December.

They do have a stage, but in my limited experience, there is not usually someone on it. Sometimes there is, though, and I don't know how to tell in advance. I was joking mostly. :)

They do often have buskers as well. I'm pretty sure [livejournal.com profile] skellington1 has played there before, you might want to ask her about it.
