I bought one of those wierd mutant dahlias with the tubular petals (involute florets, I guess?) at the Olympia farmer's market a couple of weeks ago. I wish you had one to take a picture of - I was unhappy with all my photographs of it. The way the petals overlapped was really neat, and I really wanted to get a photo, but my skill was not there. :)
