Premier Elections Solutions, formerly Diebold before a rename to attempt to shake their wretched reputation, has just fessed up to a massive vote-dropping bug that has been in their voting machine software for 10 years. Districts with higher populations and higher turnout are affected more strongly. 1,750 jurisdictions are affected, and it will not be fixed by election day.
