Car insurance company

My Credit Union has a thing going with Liberty Mutual for car insurance group rates. Their quote is significantly cheaper than what we're currently paying, probably in part because they recognise annathepiper and me as married, whereas our current insurer does not. (At least, according to this quote from this sales rep.)

Anybody had horrible (or, even, good) experiences with them? Are they evil?

liberty mutual has been the insurer of choice for much of my family out here. dunno if the folks out there suck or something, but they've generally hung with us through various car accidents, damaged homes, and such.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Liberty Mutual. Their customer service is quite good and their internet case management lets you see exactly what is happening. You don't always need to wait for a person when all you want is a status. I won't be shopping for another company anytime soon.

You might give Amica a call? They have a very good reputation and have been my family's insurance company for, like, ever. Don't know if they'll even care if you and annathepiper are married, since you're living in the same house and all. Don't know if they'll be cheaper or what, but it can't hurt to call and see. All I do know is that when I call, I speak to actual people, not machines.

I have my car & house through Liberty. Not bad on the rates. Responses have been quick. Glad to hear that they consider you & Anna married. That adds a + in my opinion. (Sorry for the late response - I was on vacation)
