I was playing "Thought You Knew" and this guy was really interested, and he came over and looked at my music and I told him I wasn't playing from it, and he asked me what I was playing and I said "a mandolin" because that's usually what people mean, and then he said "no, the song!" and I said "Oh, it's something I wrote, it's called 'Thought You Knew'" and he was all omg and said "You wrote that?!" and said excitedly "You sound like Led Zeppelin!" and I apparently had a "...what?" look because he apparently assumed I didn't know who that was and said "That's a compliment, by the way" and gave me a bunch of money. Also, there was freaky cold wind all day and I didn't have a jacket so I was freezing the entire time. I spent a lot of the last set visibly shivering.

So, yeah, Juanita Beach is weird. But they want me back and the money was pretty good for a market that new and small so that's fun. Wow I'm tired.

Do you have any mp3s or links? It would be fun to hear something -- I doubt I'll be getting to Juanita Beach any time soon.....

It was! And I'm tentative for Kirkland Wednesday Market this coming Wednesday. And for that matter, I have a schedule here! I even update it. ^_^
