If there's a point to all this, it's my irrational conviction that if I can actually get enough people to recognise what's actually going on, then maybe actual corrective action can actually be taken. One of the reasons I source everything is so that people can look and verify... and argue at me about interpretation, which they do. But at least all the data is there on the floor for everyone to see.

Yay, kitty-kitty meow-meows! The nice photos are part of what makes solarbird's page so interesting. It's a strange mix of depressing and beautiful.

depressing, yes. but needful. you are my hero - you go thru agonizing personal stuff and then wade thru all this. i don't have half the problems you do and i can't find the energy to do more.

One thing to know is know is that you only get one clickthough. (That you can sorta count on. One click; 80%. Second clickthough: around 20%. And so down.) So if it's me linking to something people should see, it's good and nice to credit me (with link to the entry), but you should also link directly through to the thing in question, whatever it is.

the lifting wholesale. that comes from me being lazy and drugged :) at no point was i wanting to take CREDIT. at every point it would have been "Solarbird's Post". but i can see why you dislike it. this is why i ASK :)

you really really should think about doing it professionally... you have a great voice, and it grabs attention. i am positive there are many papers that would LOVE to have you writing for them...
