Truck, anyone?
Jun. 19th, 2008 09:20 amOkay, so, I'm now in more of a hurry to sell my pickup truck, so I've cut the price dramatically. I still think it'd be a very nice restoration project truck for someone, even if it is a full-size bed, or, barring that, a very nice occasional-use heavy-hauler. If you know someone who needs such a beast, please let them know. Thanks.

Date: 2008-06-19 05:10 pm (UTC)A shame I can't fit the kids in there. We're currently shopping for a used van, SUV or station wagon to replace our aging Corolla.

Date: 2008-06-19 05:22 pm (UTC)Prices on used SUVs are falling the floor, so your timing, it is good. You wouldn't want this for that tho', even if were a crewcab or something, because 1: ALL METAL DASHBOARD FTW! and 2: eight, I repeat eight, miles per gallon. The previous owner may have used it as a commuter truck, but I certainly wouldn't.

Date: 2008-06-19 06:23 pm (UTC)Honestly, I'm not convinced about the good timing. I'm going to give up a car that gets nearly 40 mpg for some sort of gas-guzzling behemoth at a time when gas is over $4.25 here. We're trying to juggle our budget so that we can keep both vehicles. Not sure what's going to happen there.
But I have to assume that whatever I pick up will do better than 8mpg! Wow!
(And yes, a metal dashboard might be problematic!) :D
