Surprisingly coherent
May. 10th, 2008 12:16 pmThis weeks This American Life (Chicago Public Radio / Public Radio International) spends this week talking about the subprime -> mortgage -> CDO -> credit crisis in an hour-long segment, and it's the best coverage I've heard of it in any formal news media. They let the ratings agencies off way too easy - that bullshit was fraud outright - but even given that, it's not bad. If it hasn't aired in your area yet, or if it's going to repeat, it's worth catching, or recommending to people who still don't understand how we got here.
