I went out, shook the snow off my butterfly bushes.

Then it started snowing again and they're on the ground again.

ARGH

We've got a little over 5cm so far, last I checked. But it's only a degree or so below freezing, so there is melting in progress even as more snow continues to fall.

I couldn't decide if it was better or worse for the bushes to get the snow constantly brushed off so they bounce up, only to get weighed back down again... so I'm leaving them alone until the morning.
