So when writing down music that has lyrics, write out the lyrics first, because there's no way in hell you'll leave enough room for them if you write out the notes first instead.

harrumph, and now she tells me -- was doing fine here until my strange little piece decided that it needed words. Rate I'm going sideways with it, I may just demote the thing to the status of poetry and start over ^_^

Whatever works! I don't understand poetry tho'. It's a big weird blank spot in my brain.

I got it written out, just all cramped up. It needs a lot more stuff tho'. Including chording out this section. I think once I've got the chording out finished, it'll be okay. Unfortunately, the mandolin version of these chords are difficult. I need a lot more mandolin practice so that they'll stop being difficult.
