I listened through everything today again. I've got real problems with repetitions of rhythmic patterns in both the short and longer cycles. I guess that's just something to which I need to pay more attention. In particular there's this one fast cycle I use constantly - it's nice, but christ, move on, I get it already.
Writing music is much scarier than any other creative effort I have ever touched. Much scarier. Plus there are crazy confidence swings of huge scope involved. It's really, really, really weird in my brain. I don't know why.
