Date: 2007-10-01 02:34 pm (UTC)has this weird broken place in her brain that makes her watchlikes this old TV show called Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea from 1963. The first season is actually pretty okay - it's SF/cold war drama set in the far flung future of 1977, ooooo ahhhhh - but after that it gets... random. And silly. Very silly. So you end up with shit like evil toys and leprechauns running rampant all over THE LARGEST SUBMARINE IN THE HISTORY OF SPACE AND TIME. I mean you have no idea how big this submarine must be.Anyway, separately to that, you get dialogue like "smooth as a new doorknob" which I'm still trying to figure out who would ever have said anywhere evar, except on this show.
