Anyway, you can see this stuff at http://uplake.org if you want. It's just the neighbourhood association website where I live. The only clever part is that the content for it - well, most of the content for it - is pulled out of the uplake livejournal account. I'm using LJ as a database, sorting on tags. (If the page name ends in php, the content is pulled from LJ. If not, it's a static HTML page. The idea is that stuff that will change often will be ganked from the DB, as LJ is dramatically easier to update than HTML pages, but stuff that changes never or almost never will be stored statically and locally, to save bandwidth and... um... mostly to save bandwidth or something. Also because I haven't yet figured out how to throw different layers dynamically onto a livejournal page via a URL in S2. Mmmm, web 1.8.)
