Big lab practical tomorrow. I've been prepping for it for, hum, over two weeks. I failed the practice practical on Monday, which thankfully didn't count as it was only practice. Regardless, it will suck.

Here, have a flower picture. Flowers are nice and don't, on the whole, screw with you. I'm going to bed.

I love the colour saturation and the contrast between the deep greens and the shocking pinks. Did you do any enhancing or is this what came out of the camera?

There's not really any such thing as "what came out of the camera" on the web. You have to go through two pallete swaps just to get here, and so I adjust for that. And aside from that, I also have to play with photos often to get what I saw to actually appear on a CRT, and there's a lot of stuff I just can't replicate. What comes out of the camera is often not the colour set I saw in real life, and that's not unique to me. "What comes out of the camera" does not translate to "what's accurate and true," although a lot of people think of it that way.

All that said, I would say this is a reasonably realistic record of what I saw. I tend to shoot a lot on wet but bright cloudy days, specifically because I like this kind of light.
