Oh, you're so lucky. I miss being able to plant vegetables. Living in an apartment with no yard has such drawbacks. :(

Do you have a balcony? You can do more than you think with a balcony. Like, trashcan potatoes! And those hanging "upside down" tomato planters actually do work, I'm told. And you can do a lot of container stuff with strawberries, particularly arctic strawberries. So all hope is not lost!

Indoor-only, you're more limited to herbs. But those are nice too. I have some herbs. ^_^

Well, we have a small patio... but it doesn't really get enough sunlight to grow veggies. I was considering herbs though. There's nothing quite like using fresh herbs when you cook. Yum~

That link for the trashcan potatoes is awesome! I'm gonna have to try that. Maybe I'll go out and buy some planting goods and get my hands dirty with some soil this weekend. I need a dose of nature bad-like.

I bet you could do the right kind of mixed greens, like the kinds I just planted. Territorial Seed Company's mixed-greens seed packet is cheap and it's worth a try. ^_^ But yah, you'd be limited on space that way.

I've been wanting to try the trashcan potatoes thing for like two years but I haven't. It's such a funny idea, but I've heard from a bunch of people that it works great.
