Complete power outage, Murkworks North

The main storm hasn't even gotten here and our power is out, as is all of northern... and there goes southern... Kenmore. I think Woodinville still has power but I'm not sure. We're on battery now but that doesn't last long, so we're shutting down. See you when lights come back.

More likely, only one leg of the three-phase coming into the house was affected, and only items on that circuit.

Date: 2006-12-15 08:24 pm (UTC)Being in Seattle with SCL, real power outages are so rare and seldom last for any amount of time, that owning a generator isn't all that practical. This outage is the longest in my 27 years of being back in Seattle.
PSE and other outlaying service areas are not so lucky and are more prone to more and longer outages.
