Apparently, head injuries lead to doggerel about my cranky parrot Zoe:

Was it chicken? Ovaltine?

Oh yeah? You try getting her out of her nest/cage sometime without a towel and see how you do. ^_^

(Quakers are the only parrots that nest - they make these giant apartment-building-like many-chambered communal monsters. They imprint upon cages as the nest. So they are not fond of people touching it. NO TOUCHIE!)
