Those are nice. What are they? I'm looking for ground cover for my place and those might work. I'm looking for drought resistant if possible.

They're gorgeous, aren't they? Very common up here. I think they're called Blue Star Creeper, but don't hold a gun to my head over that. They handle the summer drought up here very well, and handle the long, wet winters well too. I don't think they're normally as blue in other parts of the country - some combination of our soils and rain patterns make them darker blue than usual. But it might also just be the variety most commonly planted.

They do spread but are not particularly aggressive and are pretty easy to weed out of necessary. They're also quite hardy and are evergreen. I particularly like them once they've built up a nice mass so they look like a giant carpet. I wouldn't recommend them for traffic areas, though; I don't think they'd take a lot of walking on.

Oh yeah; if you have a colour printer, I give permission to print out a copy of the photo to take to the nursery. (No other uses, please; if you have a commercial use talk to me and we can work something out.) The nursery should be able to confirm what it is.
