No! We can't let the Power Outage win!

Took me an extra listen to get this one; I pretty much missed it the first time through because I was waiting for the vocals to kick in :P Nurr. Eventually my brain caught on to what that word "instrumental" actually meant, and I was able to get into it.

Some of the tone and feel reminds me of John Fahey's New Possibility Christmas album, which (since I grew up around here, where it's always a Green Christmas) fits in with the rain and trees vibe pretty well.

Yeah, it's not like much of the rest of the album, but I like the idea of an instrumental per disc, so unless at some point I get all pretentiousambitious and make a RAWK OPERA or something, I'm thinking of doing it on most CDs.

(And it'll appear again on the all-instrumental CD I've got planned out called Distractions, just because some people want a CD of just those.)
