Just to clarify: Series 27 is what's showing on the skiffy channel right now? and Series 28 is something you're getting off of bittorrent or something?

Series 27 is what's on the Skiffy channel. Series 28 is currently airing in some Commonwealth countries, but is not yet airing in the USA.

I've watched it three times today, and listened to the writer and (Micky-actor)'s commentary track.

Well, I got them from the same bit torrent site as I got the episode. But it was apparently broadcast on BBC radio or something, and can be downloaded from the BBC web site, somewhere. (It should show up on Google) For every episode, there is a commentary track with the actors/writers/producers talking about it.
