Yeah, the Administration already has a track record of disregarding the people it has who can actually think. The old Army Chief of Staff said (before the war) that the Iraq occupation effort would take something like 5 times the troop levels that were being planned for, and he got viciously attacked by the Secretary of Defense (who should have been fired years ago, but that is a different subject) for being out of touch. Turns out since that he was pretty near the mark.

My guess is no real move towards an alternative energy program will start until it's absolutely unavoidable-that's usually the way things go...Scott
