Anybody know about blinds?

Anybody out there know anything about the quality of Bali, Levolor, and HunterDouglas window blinds and shades? We need to buy one, and it'll be a custom, because it's a half-circle shape.

The cellular shades we bought for most of our windows are Levolor. They aren't custom (although we had to have them chopped down to fit the windows lengthwise) but they've done a wonderful job, they look nice and they keep heat either in or out (depending on the season). We got the completely opaque ones for C's room. Keeps the room NICE and warm in the winter and pitch-black (since his room faces the lone streetlight) at night.

Levolor makes a blind where the slats are kind of S shaped. When closed you can't see through them at all, far superior to the standard blind, so you might want to consider that if you're worried about privacy. I use them on pretty much all the windows here to prevent people peeking in.

I got a set of HunterDouglas cellular shades a while ago; they seem okay.

I've got a custom cellular set on order (for a half-circular window) but they haven't arrived yet.

I'm also getting a regular rectangular set with an battery-operated raise/lower mechanisim. That's for a high window in a spot where a cord wouldn't work very well. It hasn't arrived yet, either.

I know they used to sell Hunter Douglas at Daly's, so they must be okay. The guy who works in the wallpaper/window shades part of the Bellevue store is really cool, I used to work w/ him when he was the custom match geek on the paint/stain side of the store. His name's Randy. He knows a bunch.
