solarbirdI've finally sent out New Year cards. An assortment of them will be late, but they'll be there. I was this close >< to bailing entirely, but they're out now, and I think I salvaged them - from an artistic standpoint, I mean - in the end. I'll try to make a photo post of one later.
(This has not been my finest round. The "holidays" are difficult for me under the best of circumstances, and this was not the best of circumstances. No, I don't want to talk about it, at least, not on open livejournal posts.)
Here, have a leaf picture before I go to bed; this one I shot down the hill at the park by the lake, that Burke-Gilman goes through right after it reaches Kenmore, rather late in October. I liked it:

Miles out of Hobbiton: 555.4
Miles out of Rivendell: 95.6
Miles to Lothlórien: 370.8
