eth0 on door, discussed in my previous post, fell over again, probably not very long after I went to bed, but I don't know because there's nothing in the logs about it.

I'm now actively looking for suggestions. eth0 just falls down. No indication of why, or even that it's down. It just goes silent.

flaky hardware or slot on the bus?

if you run "lspci" is it still there?

Hum. I hadn't checked that far down since the driver would still initialise and report card statistics. So next time it falls over, I'll check that.

The card is definitely still visible to the PCI bus.

We got taken down again, and it was lodestone again. So we appear to have a couple of issues going on at once.
