solarbird | preliminary scoring

I think I did okay. I didn't do as well on the verbal as I did on the practice test (where I got a perfect score), but I did better on the math than I did in either practice, which doesn't suck any. I got my raw scores, but I don't know what percentile those are, but I'm pretty sure they'll be competitive. No 99th percentile for me, clearly it's been too long since I've taken any of these things. I am sad. (I was so nervous. After finishing the section, I was convinced I'd blown the whole thing horribly.)

Hopefully the scores will be good enough for the school. I think it will, but, well, gah.

I'm disappointed that I dropped off 800 on the verbal, but I'm glad I managed to recover enough ancient math sk1lz to kick that score back up. And, of course, I don't know about the written portion yet.

Also, the bus back was fine. It turns out Community Transit doesn't take Metro passes (unlike Sound Transit), but the driver let me use it anyway, even though I offered dollars instead. (Probably because I showed it to him and when he didn't react, put it in the fare box, and then he said they don't take those.)
