I think we just had a tiny earthquake. That's the first one I've felt - if it was one - in, gosh, a couple of years. (It was really little. A couple of books tipped and a stack of mail fell over, and there was just a little rattling.) I kind of thought it was a large truck going by before I remembered, "oh wait, we live at the end of a dead end street now." I went and checked for a large truck anyway, but there wasn't anything out there.

Entire duration was five or six seconds, intensity felt kinda like this: .:::....

Time was 12:50pm, plus or minus a couple of minutes. Nothing on the USGS website yet, but it hasn't updated in a while.

In other news, today is much better from an allergy standpoint. Far from perfect, but definitely better. I've also vacuumed and done a lot of housework stuff. And we ended up walking a bit getting around the U. District for Mimi's birthday dinner and movie, so I've got some to log on that front, too. Yay!

I felt this one (http://pasadena.wr.usgs.gov/shake/pnw/STORE/X6251349_05/ciim_display.html) in Portland this weekend. Yay.

That's funny, cuz I thought I felt one last night. I knew at the time I probably wasn't, but still it crossed my mind.

I can't help validate what you felt today though, - I was napping at the time :P Darn!

what's funny is that with all the ones that have shaken around here, I've never felt a one... :-\

Hmm, still nothing on any of the news sites... maybe it was a really, really small one?

YAY for allergies improving. That stuff can be miserable...

Might have been a Sonic Boom. The high atmospheric ones tend to feel like that.

Well don't forget that they have that new pulse jet and back in the early 90's the test flights took it over Portland/Seattle a number of times. Odds are it's running a lot more regularly now. Probably still based out of Edwards or maybe the Ranch (Area 51), I suspect once it goes public they'll move it to the 9 SRW in Marysville.

An acquaintance reported one in Tahoe as well.

The ring of fire is getting to be a bit active. I think we'll all know if New Madrid gets the hiccups. :-/
