Probably getting a lot of rain this week, so much travel on foot or bus and NO BIKING. Oh well. Today is all writing and politics. So boring. Well, the writing part is okay. But my arms hurt. Foo.

My digital camera is also getting wonkier. It wasn't focusing even at wide-angle anymore, but I bopped it a couple of times and it started working again. It better not die, I need it for eBay and flowers. Speaking of which:

Miles out of Hobbiton: 136.1. Bree! And hanging out for a day or two. Cute ranger is a fun playtoy, but apparently he's actually just killing time waiting for the little furry-footed people. Well, it takes all sorts.

Cottenwood fluff, like snow, always looks like less when you photograph it.

I'm glad you're getting some rain. I was kind of worried that the rain was so light in WA this winter. For some reason I think all the precipitation was diverted south to Cali this year. Hope you get enough to avoid a drought.
