By the front steps, one of the few I've planted here myself, having saved it from the demolition of house that was being torn down a few blocks away to make way for a new house:

That was the same place I got the plum tree sapling, which is growing happily now along the north edge of the property. ^_^

[livejournal.com profile] annathepiper and I walked down to the shops today; on the way back, it started raining, but not hard enough that I minded, since I had a hat; we also stopped at the house that's for sale down the next block from ours, and poked around inside. It's very nice - it's also around 10% more than we paid for this one, despite being smaller and on a smaller lot. On the other hand, it does have a tiny lake view, but still - yeek!

But the best thing is that there's going to be a Sunday farmer's market down at the shops, starting June 12th. It opens early, at 11AM, which is kind of early for me on a weekend day, but I'll try. ^_^ I hope it's a nice one. One at a time, the things we had to give up seem to be following us to the new house. Yay!

Also, I put a bunch of old Amiga stuff (and a few other things) up on eBay. If you care, search for auctions by dawnstargraphics. In the meantime, click through for another picture of the lillies.

Very pretty! Your flower posts inspired me to put up some pictures of my tulips. :-)
