So, is anybody here going to the NASFiC this year in Seattle? It's the big North American Science Fiction interim Convention, held whenever the Worldcon is outside North America. I'm doing the at-convention newsletter (one trick pony, ho!) and am looking for staff.

Last night, we went to dinner with Thom and his boyfriend Jeff, and then up to Capital Hill where we went to the Dilettante and walked around yakking for a while. That was fun. Today, I'm mostly just screwing around, tho' I might put some things up on eBay, since I have things to put up.

You really do have the best flowers ever, I am completely jealous. ^_^ Sucks having an apartment at times. *sigh*

I can't wait to eventually be back in Seattle and be able to go to as many Cons as possible. ^_^

Thom. Gosh, didn't I meet him years and years and years ago? I think so, and if I'm remembering correctly I think I really liked him and his boyfriend. Hmmmm. Bummah.

We did indeed meet years and years and years ago (around 1993 or 1994, I think); in fact, I asked about you at dinner on Saturday. This isn't the same boyfriend--Jay--that you met way back then, though he's still a close friend (we even live in the same condo building, and he looked after my cat while I was in Seattle this past weekend). This more recent bf (of two years) is named Jeff; sorry we missed you this time around, but I'm hoping we'll be back more often.

Oh, we went back to Dilettante for dessert late Sunday night, where I tried a (half) coupe caramel this time around; Jeff got the (half) coupe Dilettante again. Thanks so much for introducing us to that place.
