Ass firmly kicked by poker last night, but what can you do when your third-best starting hand the entire evening is five-six suited? Seriously, that was the third best shot I got, and the flop destroyed all hope. I won one hand all night with a pair and ace kicker, which is the best I could get.

Then I became dealer and table referee and eventually played Sniper Bitch Halo, which is always fun. ^_^

Also, I put the squirrel-go-round up. No squirrels yet. I DEMAND THAT SMALL FURRY ANIMALS WITH FLUFFY TAILS COME BE CUTE OUTSIDE MY HOUSE!

I like poker. But for the life of me I can not understand the attraction of 'Texas holdem'. It's IMHO the WORST poker game there is, with the exception of Baseball in the dark.

I like the way the odds change with each new card and round of betting. It's neat. Regular poker hands don't have any duration to them.

I also like blackjack, which has a similar feel of building to it. Maybe that's it.
