Turning off anonymous comments

I got an anonymous political comment pushing a proposal by Democrats for Life that had all the "comment spam" flags on it. (Not in actual response to post; standard pickup on keyword; etc.) Fuck you, comment spammers. Fuck you until you bleed out your ears. So I'm turning anonymous commenting back off.

(Sorry, Scott. I turned anonymous posting back on after having it off for a while - thanks to comment spammers then, too - but I have to turn it off again now. Livejournal accounts are free, you might get one. That way I can let you see friendslocked posts, too.)

What exactly are the "comment spam" flags?
How do I recognize them?

I don't mean literal flags in some sort of computer-science way. I mean the way it was written and what it said. You know, when something is written in commercial-speak or crude-propaganda-speak.

Okay, you convinced me. I have set up a livejournal of my own. No more anonymous posting for me.

Actually, my older daughter's livejournal and my wife's travels had some influence in my decision too.
