Kung Fu Hustle made me laugh harder than I've ever laughed in a theatre in the history of me laughing in theatres. Go see it. [livejournal.com profile] annathepiper and I went with [livejournal.com profile] spazzkat, [livejournal.com profile] kathrynt, [livejournal.com profile] kingchiron, [livejournal.com profile] llachglin, and [livejournal.com profile] jiapa.

In other news, Woodhall apparently rolls up its sidewalks at 4pm. Pack'a monks, apparently. Also, I never dropped below 2,4th gear on the way home, which is why I made it in around 50 minutes. Maybe less. I think that means I averaged 10mph or so, which for me, is the Zum! So miles today: 16
Miles out of Hobbiton: 52.35
Miles to Rivendell: 405.65

On two wheels..

The digital speedometer on my bike just reset itself to zero(three digit limit),so I began my Rivendell Ride yesterday..12 miles out of Hobbiton so far. About 10 MPH seems to be about everyone's average "crusing speed". I use my bike for around-town trips a lot,and you'd be surprised how fast the miles rack up. Haven't seen "Kung Fu Hustle" yet, though your recommendation is the third one I've heard so far...It's been snowing here all day. Not much, dusted cars and roofs, but considering it was almost 80 deg. F a few days ago...Scott

2,4th gear
so now I need to know what this means (i.e., which number refers to the chain ring and which to the rear wheel, and do you count from the outside in or what?)
